An IEnvironmental Product Declaration (EPD) demonstrates our commitment to measuring and reducing the environmental impact of our products.
An EPD, which is independently verified, provides exact data about energy and resource use of a product from inception through to disposal at the end of its life. This enables specifiers, architects and customers to make a significantly more informed decision when specifying on projects.
Only with data from EPD’s, can architects, planners and clients evaluate the environmental footprint of a building.
The need for sustainable construction solutions is also increasing the demand for environmental product declarations. The sustainability and the quality of buildings ultimately depends on the components used. Understanding the EPD rating of products may therefore become essential.
